The leader in pay equity
Megan is an accomplished athlete and an even greater force of nature in the domain of equal rights. Simply put, Megan is a change maker. She led USWNT to the historic settlement to ensure pay equity for women soccer players and paved the way for working women everywhere
On Equal Pay Day last year, she testified to the House of Representatives regarding the state of USWNT's equal pay lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation:
"Equal pay and equality in general is a deep and personal passion of mine. And what we've learned and what we continue to learn is that there's no level of status and there's no accomplishment or power that will protect you from the clutches of inequality. One cannot simply outperform inequality. Or be excellent enough to escape discrimination of any kind."
